Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic Health Physiotherapists are registered physiotherapists who have specialized in treatment of pelvic health concerns. Like physiotherapists in other settings, our goal is to assist patients in resuming their daily or nightly activities as quickly as possible. Our ultimate goal being the ability to help decrease the impact that your pelvic health is having on your life.

Keri Martin Vrbanac is an incredibly passionate Pelvic Physiotherapist whose mission is to save the world…one pelvis at a time. As a practitioner, Keri works with all ages, and all genders experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction. Jessica is a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and graduate of McMaster University. She is passionate about helping clients understand their bodies, build confidence, and improve their quality of life.

Her practice focuses on bowel and bladder health, sexual health, pelvic pain, and supporting people through their pregnancy and postpartum journeys. She is especially passionate about guiding clients as they return to exercise — whether that means getting back to the gym, lifting weights, running, or simply feeling strong in daily life. Using a client-centered approach, Jessica works to connect the dots between physical anatomy, life experiences, and lifestyle, empowering clients with tools that support their goals.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys cooking, baking, staying active, volunteering in her community, and spending time with her wonderful circle of family and friends.

Richu graduated with a Bachelors in Physiotherapy in India in 2009. After graduating she had the opportunity to work in hospital settings as well as private clinics. Her work in India included a lot of post surgery rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions including joint replacements and ligament reconstructions. Richu came to Canada in the fall of 2019 and got her resident license after successfully completing her exam in November 2020.

She looks forward to helping patients reach their physiotherapy goals by manual therapy, exercises and education.

Melissa began her post-secondary education at McMaster University where she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. She then continued her education at Queen’s University completing her Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Melissa discovered her passion for Pelvic Physiotherapy and has focused her practice on helping men and women suffering with pelvic pain and incontinence and mothers through all stages of pregnancy. She is dedicated to working with her patients to reach their goals, optimize functional recovery and prevent future dysfunction. Angela graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2020 from McMaster University. While studying at McMaster, she volunteered at a rehab clinic, which sparked her interest in physiotherapy. She pursued this passion and was accepted and completed her Master of Physical Therapy at Western in 2023. Through her clinical placements, Angela had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and conditions, including a variety of orthopaedic conditions and sports injuries. During her second placement, Angela was grateful to work with the ABIM team and learned excellent communication and handling skills. Angela is excited to share her treatment style of collaborative problem solving and personalized exercise programs, rooted in evidence-based practice. She believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of rehab and strives to create open communication and trust with her patients. Furthering her education is a professional goal Angela wishes to achieve, with plans to become certified in acupuncture and dry needling. She is interested in continuing to learn about exercise and manual therapy techniques to provide the best treatment possible. Chathurangi (Chat) is a Registered Physiotherapist with advanced training in pelvic health rehabilitation. She is rostered in pelvic physiotherapy and has completed specialized courses in treating urinary incontinence and pelvic pain through a trauma-informed approach. Her clinical expertise includes helping clients with pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pelvic pain, and pre- and post-natal care. With a strong background in women’s health, neurological rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, she takes a holistic approach to each client’s recovery. Chathurangi holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Colombo and a Master of Science in Clinical and Health Psychology from the University of West London. She is passionate about empowering clients through education, personalized exercise programs, and evidence-based treatments that restore confidence and improve quality of life.
